Essie Getting Groovy is part of Essie’s winter nail polish collection. This beautiful, sparkling gold color is ideal for  brightening up a dreary winter day, or for celebrating during the holiday season. Love it!

The golden hue of Getting Groovy by Essie is a festive, sparkling hue. The polish itself is foil-like; it doesn’t streak at all, which is a huge plus! It applies evenly, with proper saturation in two coats. I tested out Essie Getting Groovy nail polish with one base coat, and two coats of color; no top coat. It lasted a full week before my nails grew and I needed to change it. This is a great nail polish!

Metallic nail polishes are a huge trend right now, and well into 2017. This makes Getting Groovy by Essie a fabulous nail polish to invest in. The golden hue acts like a neutral, making it easy to wear with any color palette. Since it is a sparkling polish, it is also perfect for celebrating the holidays, and ringing in the new year! Love!

Pairing this Tart Collections sequin jacket with loose, distressed, straight-leg jeans worked out perfectly! I love the edgy-glam look for a casual New Years Eve party, or any daytime activity. This is a great girl’s brunch outfit idea too! For New Years Eve, I plan to wear this exact outfit but I will switch out the daytime handbag for this cute little number by Valentino.
