Mischo nail polish review

mischo nail polish review nyfw

How fun is this deep, dark, navy blue.  I’m loving the hue! In my quest for the new, upcoming spring 2021 nail polish colors, I came across this beauty brand for the first time. Mischo Beauty offers several pretty nail polish colors, all reasonably priced at $20. I was intrigued when I saw this deep navy blue color; after all, it is named after one of my favorite events of the year, #NYFW, so you know I had to buy it! Love that!

Mischo nail polish is ten free, and it is made in the USA. You know I love products made in the USA! This cream nail polish applies smoothly, without streaking. This is really important because dark cream polishes can often streak; this one does not. I was able to apply one base coat and two coats of color without having to go back over any spots. The first coat was even, so when I went to apply the second coat of color, it was a breeze!

I am really happy with how pretty this manicure came out. Mischo nail polish applies really well, and offers a beautiful saturation of color. The brush is easy to handle, making polishing a breeze. I will definitely be on the lookout for new colors to come out from the brand! If you are looking for a great nail polish at a good price, this is a fabulous brand to try out. You will love the even application and color saturation. I know I do!

Stay tuned for my spring nail polish reviews later this month!

Personalized jewelry made in the USA by Messages in Metal

holiday gift ideas messages in metal review personalized necklaces jewelry

There is nothing more fabulous than personalized jewelry. It is incredible to have a special piece of jewelry which bears something personal; whether it be initials, a name,  a date, an event, or something near and dear to your heart. When I heard about Messages in Metal based in Montana, I was thrilled! Here is a company that makes personalized jewelry made in the USA. Love!

Messages in Metal creates a wide variety of jewelry which you can personalize for yourself, or as a gift. They have so many different options to choose from! It’s like being a kid in a candy store! I love the name necklaces, the vintage designs, and the family collection.

I chose to have a necklace created with the names of my three kids. Alongside their name, is their birthstone. It’s an incredibly special necklace I know I will cherish for years to come. I’m also a sucker for bold pieces, so the Tranquility necklace was right up my alley. I love how it’s a bold piece which is eye catching, yet also has a special place in my heart since it reflects the names of my children.

One of the fabulous things I love about Messages in Metal is that they are speedy! I received the necklace roughly a week after ordering it. This is because they are made right here in the USA; more specifically, they are made in Montana! You don’t have to worry about waiting weeks for your jewelry from some factory oversees. It is made right here in the states! Love that!

I love the high quality jewelry Messages in Metal creates. Plus, the prices are really good! You will find most of their jewelry is priced under $100. Love!

Classic mustard wrap dress for fall by San Francisco designer Karen Klein

Mustard is such a hot color this fall! Although it is a traditional autumn hue, it has not been as popular as it is this season for many, many years! This is actually the first time mustard has been popular that I have put it into my closet, and loved it!

I was thrilled when Karen Klein reached out to me to introduce me to her collection. Her collection has several mustard pieces in classic, and fashion-forward styles; so I was excited to learn more about her, and share the collection with you! Karen Klein is a local, San Francisco Bay Area designer. Her designs come to life right here in San Francisco! I love that her clothing is not only made in the USA, it is made in San Francisco! Love!

Karen Klein clothing is fabulous because it is made to fit any shape or size. When I attend fashion week in New York, I see SO MANY styles go down the runway that can only be worn by a size 000. If you look around you, how many people are a size 000? Um, I rarely see one! Most people walking around are wearing sizes much higher then 000, 00, 0, 2, and 4. The last time I wore a 4 I was a freshman in high school. I wear an 8 now, and I am perfectly happy with my size. It is so refreshing to look at Karen Klein’s collection and know that all of it will not only fit me, but it will look good on me! Let’s face it, just because something comes in your size, does not mean it will look good. Karen Klein’s clothing just looks good on any size body!

When I look good, I feel good. I love clothing which makes me feel secure in myself. This wrap dress looks good, and it is really comfortable, Plus, it can double as a topper over jeans, and a thin sweater when the weather gets cooler this winter. I look forward to wearing it over jeans-and yes, I will post that look later in the season when the weather calls for it.

In addition to this dress, I also have this black dress by Karen Klein, and this fabulous jacket. Those too, will come to the blog soon! So stay tuned. . .
